Deci’s a self-proclaimed “rakun of the night,” a soul whose creativity thrives most when the world goes quiet and dark, remaining ethereal with the unknown. Throughout her life, she was always fascinated by the forgotten and overlooked— things people don’t give a second thought or leave behind. Whether it was through extensive interest in tinkering with self-expression, exploring urban alleys under moonlight, or creating art from her heart and mind, she found beauty in the small, hidden things that others often missed.Her Gaze, a mix of family and community of her kind, always joked that they were more than other rakun tribes, charmers who aimlessly aided humans with support, helped them feel at ease and taught them how to embrace their desires— whether that be spiritually or physically. Although Deci was raised with others who embraced their charm abilities, she couldn’t help but feel a near disgust of what she was meant to be. She resented the idea of living only to please others, although she had a caring and helpful soul. She knew even at a young age that she was destined for more, and her mind was set on the star-lit skies that gently caressed her overflowing mind into a subtle calmness.Her questions would come off annoying to most in her gaze, as it was believed by all that their true destiny had been set ahead of them for her kind to fulfill. In her rush of disagreement, Deci decided early on that she would break the cycle of fitting the mold set decades before her time. She would rather use her creativity and curiosity to aid herself and dedicate her time to learning more about the stars she felt at home with, starting with her appearance.The bat-like wings? Just a bit of tinkering flair she added to make her appearance feel uniquely “Deci.” She embraced the uniqueness in her detachable wings, an accessory memorable to her desires to reach the stars and caress them the same way they caressed her. Despite not feeling aligned with her charmer roots, her undying love for her people couldn’t go away. She decided to keep her birthmark, a tattoo left on all of her Gaze that tied their destiny to charming. Though she was set on never becoming a charmer, she wanted to show that souls are capable of changing and that anyone can break the cycle they were born into.Despite all her hard work to avoid becoming what she was intended to be, there was a new understanding for charming and her Gaze's roots. Maybe there was a way to accept her abilities, in a unique way that felt just her.Inspired by new understanding, and with her creative tinkering, she was quick to feel comfortable with how she could manipulate her desires to become a part of her destiny. All she had left was to strive further into her interests and study the galaxies that lay hidden in the darkness of the skies. Now, she shares her creativity with others, streaming with her community of Nocturnal Nesters, night owls with creative tastes who strive to expand themselves. In a way, she strives to charm others with full intent to help them break the chains set by others and fully embrace who they are deep in their soul, individuals who have full liberty to create whatever life they desire- whether that included staying true to your initial destiny, changing it to better fit who you are, or becoming something entirely different and authentically you.

I'm Deci, or Rei, an artist and streamer. I'm a student and minor, 17. I've been in the community for over a year and a half, across two accounts for streaming. I began commission work years prior but didn't start working with vtubers until April of 2023. I've worked with over 200 clients since then!I'm pretty big into authentic interaction, so I appreciate sharing my personal interests and being myself to those on stream. I LOVE talking about music, sharing interests and ideas, and being able to share stories. I also stream with friends the most, but occasionally will solo stream when I can. When I do solo stream, it's usually art! I enjoy making my own design and assets and being able to share my work process to those who watch.
